Gerber wore a pistachio-colored Gucci gown that was accentuated by interesting patterns and additional details. Kaia Gerber made an impression on Saturday at the 2024 LACMA Art + Film Gala by wearing a gorgeous Gucci gown. The event, which was held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, saw the actor wear an intricately beaded pistachio-colored gown. The outfit featured a square neckline held together by thin straps. It also boasted detailed chevron patterns throughout the gown, with the design spacing out in the skirt. Meanwhile, the bust featured an intricate design with plain green satin fabric. 

A lush fringe on the bottom of the gown’s skirt emphasized the dramatic element of the ensemble. Furthermore, the intricately woven chevron beads gave off a glistening glow to the ensemble. Gerber let the gown be in the spotlight by opting for nearly an accessory-free look. The only jewelry pieces she wore were her studded diamond earrings and a ring. The model completed the outfit with silver heels. Makeup artist Nina Park offered Gerber a clean look with long lashes, sculpted brows, brown eyeshadow, and a glossy nude lip. 

On the other hand, manicurist Thuy Nguyen gave Kaia Gerber pointed matte nails while hairstylist Bryce Scarlett let her copper blonde hair down cascading over her shoulder with blown-out curls. The model also took to Instagram to share pictures of her look from the 2024 LACMA Art + Film Gala. 

While Kaia Gerber is known for her minimal choice of fashion, she recently broke out of the trend to provide some striking looks. Last month, she celebrated her name on the 2024 TIME100 Next list by wearing a Maximillian Davis outfit from the Ferragamo collection. The sheer high-neck mini dress featured black knitted ropes, accompanied by a looped fringe around her knees. Gerber is no stranger to the fashion industry partly due to her supermodel mom, Cindy Crawford, and partly to her own triumphs as an award-winning model and renowned actor. On Saturday, the 23-year-old made another victorious move at the red carpet event by wearing one of the most talked about outfits of the night.

Kaia Gerber graced the Academy Museum Gala red carpet wearing Alexander McQueen’s ornate vintage gown for Givenchy. McQueen created the elegant dress for the luxury fashion house’s fall 1997 haute couture collection for Givenchy, inspired by one of Audrey Hepburn’s outfits from her “My Fair Lady” wardrobe.

Gerber’s ensemble was a black recreation of Hepburn’s white embassy ball dress from the Oscar-winning blockbuster “My Fair Lady.” However, the British fashion designer’s iteration that the 23-year-old wore on Saturday night was one of two gowns from the collection. The second one was white and uncannily similar to the on-screen version.

Kaia Gerber’s intricately detailed gown was beaded from top to bottom with fringe-like cap sleeves. The ornate detailings around an almost round neckline displayed her sharp collarbones. These decorations then formed rows and floral patterns all over the sheer fabric, creating an extraordinary finish at the bottom of the floor-length dress.

Gerber paired the look with minimal make-up and jewelry. Her accessories comprised a diamond choker, a diamond ring, and matching drop-down earrings. Moreover, the model’s makeup was all about neutral colors with a subtle smokey eye, rosy lip shade, and thick brows.

On the Academy Museum Gala’s red carpet, Kaia Gerber told Vogue that Audrey Hepburn has always been a fashion inspiration to her. She also called the outfit “Lee McQueen’s darker, gothic version of the very classic My Fair Lady dress.”

Captured under clear blue skies down on Malibu Beach in Los Angeles, California the model-turned-actress totes an array of Celine’s Victoire and Triomphe handbag styles and shines a spotlight upon Celine’s Pilates collection for Summer 2024.

Last night, stars from the world of fashion, film, music and entertainment were out in full force to celebrate the opening of The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit.

Naturally, the most buzz-worthy spectacle on the fashion calendar generated a vast amount of show-stopping fashion moments for us to sit back and fawn over. The “The Garden of Time” dress code, inspired by a short story from 1962 of the same title by J.G. Ballard could have perhaps been interpreted in a variety of different ways. As expected, however, a whole multitude of archival magic was unearthed and florals for spring actually proved to be somewhat… groundbreaking.

Kim Kardashian requested Maison Margiela’s John Galliano create a haute couture look composed of a pale grey cashmere cardigan, a corset rewoven from antique silver brocade and a skirt in tooled silver metal evoking lace and florals. A staggering 98,000 crystals later and Anok Yai hit the famed steps of the 2024 Met Gala in a custom Swarovski creation while South African singer required a little help up the stairs, essentially donning a Balmain sand sculpture. Zendaya opted for not one but two breathtaking looks. This year’s Met Gala co-host first descended upon the event showcasing a striking ocean-blue gown by John Galliano for Maison Margiela that included a dramatic matching headpiece. The undisputed style icon later ventured up the steps again in a black archival look from Givenchy’s Spring 1996 haute couture collection (designed by the late Alexander McQueen). Inspired by a Richard Avedon photograph, Nicole Kidman asked Balenciaga’s Denma to breath new life into an original monochromatic Cristóbal Balenciaga creation from 1951 while Demi Moore hit all the right notes in a Harris Reed confection.

Across a duo of limited edition black and white covers, Kaia becomes the personification of rock and roll chic.
