You’re no doubt fully aware that Hedi Slimane has departed Celine as creative director (with Michael Rider already announced as his replacement). Slimane surprised the fashion world in late September by unveiling his Spring 2025 collection for the French fashion house founded in 1945, amidst the frenzy of Paris Fashion Week while notorious for showing off-schedule. The collection and accompanying advertising campaign was ultimately the French designer’s last as Celine creative director. Slimane, who joined Celine in 2018, ventured one hour outside Paris to the commune of Compiègne for one portion of the Spring 2025 campaign. Models Ana Clara, Senna Vet, Polina Levin, Evelyn Nagy, Dana Smith, and Fatihat Afolabi roam the historic Château de Compiègne. The second half of the campaign sees Lila Moss join the girls, captured in crisp black and white.

After walking the Coperni runway at Paris Fashion Week, Lila Moss graced the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in a dramatic ensemble. Notably, the 22-year-old made her debut at this year’s VSFS in an all-pink lingerie set. Her ensemble had several interesting elements, including a two-piece set, a fringe jacket, and elaborate body jewelry. However, the 2024 VSFS was special for the debutante as she was accompanied by her mother and ’90s supermodel, Kate Moss, who also made her runway debut.

Lila Moss, who went all out for her debut at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, walked the runway wearing a pink bra with star patterns and a matching bikini bottom. She paired the two-piece set with a fringe jacket that hung around her shoulders like a cape. The detailed fringes on the garment gave the ensemble more structure as it drew attention to her body jewelry.

Moss’ unusual choice of accessories worked in her favor as she paired her lingerie with a metallic body chain that wrapped around her torso and waist. The model also wore sparkly strappy silver heels that complemented the shade of her all-pink lingerie.

Moreover, even if she might have earned her well-deserved angel wings, Moss ditched the conventional wings for something personal and special. The 22-year-old wore an artwork-like structure in place of the wings, with the words “Lila” and “VS” written in acrylic cursive. The words were punctuated on either end with heart and star patterns, taking the spectator on a nostalgic trip back to when they would similarly write their names on the back pages of a notebook or while filling out pages of a diary or journal.

Meanwhile, Lila Moss had her mother for support and encouragement throughout the event. For her runway debut on Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, Kate Moss wore a black lace bodysuit draped in a sheer floor-length slipdress with botanical patterns.

On September 24, Kate and Lila Moss had an adorable mother-daughter twinning moment at the Saint Laurent Paris Fashion Week show. The duo was seated separately, with the supermodel seated alongside Zoë Kravitz for the fashion show. However, their matching outfits weren’t missed, as both went with an all-black see-through look. While Kate Moss opted for mesh, her daughter Lila turned heads in a lacy gown that left little to the imagination.

She accessorized the outfit with gold jewelry, opting for chunky bangles and statement earrings. Moss paired her fit with a matching glitter-adorned handbag. For hair and makeup, the model kept it minimal, letting her mesh maxi dress steal the show. She went with a slicked-back hairstyle and minimalistic makeup that further elevated her fashion choices.

Lila Moss was also present at the Saint Laurent Paris Fashion Week show, although sitting away from her mother. She matched her mom’s energy in a lacy gown that showcased her black underwear. Kim Jones might be about to start switching it up when it comes to Fendi’s advertising campaigns. Since Fall 2021, Jones has called upon Craig McDean as campaign photographer, with the British lensman subsequently photographing the Spring 2022, Fall 2022, Spring 2023 and Fall 2023 campaign imagery. Following a brief fling with Steven Meisel for Spring 2024, Jones welcomes McDean back with the unveiling of Fendi’s latest handbag fashion spots. The British designer who has been at the helm of the Italian fashion house since 2020, welcomes mother-daughter duo Kate Moss and Lila Moss to help shine a spotlight upon the iconic Fendi Peekaboo handbag. In the simplistic studio-shot images styled by Melanie Ward, Kate and Lila (who are both firm friends of the house of Fendi) tote different variations of the Fendi Peekaboo bag throughout, first unveiled as the late Karl Lagerfeld presented his Fendi collection during the Spring 2009 season of Milan Fashion Week.

To celebrate 40 years in the biz, Jacobs reunites with Teller for his celebratory Spring 2024 and ushers in a handful of his muses from past and present for the occasion. FKA Twigs, Dakota Fanning, Cindy Sherman, Lila Moss, Lil Uzi Vert and Bladee assemble in front of the Marc Jacobs offices in New York, each toting a selection of the American designer’s signature handbags (including the The Sack Bag, The Tote Bag and The Snapshot) – complete with even Jacobs and Teller making appearances themselves.

In the world of magazines, one could argue December is just as important as September. After all, it’s the time in which a magazine closes out the past twelve months, and we’ve come to expect a great deal from our fave fashion glossies around this time of the year.

As Edward Enninful rounds out his tenure at British Vogue, the Brit fashion bible is bestowing upon us a full-on Tim Walker extravaganza for December 2023. Echoing the theme of Enninful’s very first issue, British Vogue‘s latest is a merriment of British talent. Across a total of six celebratory covers pose actresses Olivia Colman, Jodie Comer and Tilda Swimton. Also in the lineup are rappers Stromzy and Little Simz and mother-daughter duo Kate and Lila Moss. Enninful himself reported for styling duties, selecting all-white looks from British fashion houses such as Erdem, 16Arlington, Vivienne Westwood, Richard Quinn, Charles Jeffrey Loverboy and Alexander McQueen.

However, upon checking out the covers, members of theFashionSpot forums were far from in the mood to celebrate. “British Vogue on a budget,” shrieked mepps.

“I miss the old times of obvious styled themes. ‘Great Britain’ and we get white styling on white backgrounds, celebrities making stupid faces. Vogue on a low budget, how times have changed,” kokobombon echoed.

“Apparently in Edward’s mind decadent festive glamour is also cancelled, just like creative vision, talent and imagination,” fumed forum member SanderGreen.

Ihhbl wasn’t feeling it either, crying out: “This is soooo underwhelming and lackluster!”

“I remember when Tim Walker used to create dazzling editorials with gorgeous clothes. What happened?” questioned gallianostan.

“A truly horrible series of covers, and not even the inclusion of my faves Kate and Lila Moss is enough to save this. I already dislike Tim Walker’s photography enough as it is, and then to give me this when all I wanted was festive glamour is… a slap in the face from Enninful,” a disapproving vogue28 voiced.

The 5’6″ British beauty has fronted campaigns for Topshop, Chanel, Bulgari and RED Valentino. Instagirl Hailey Bieber is one of the most visible models of our time thanks (in part) to the 5’7″ blonde’s close friendship with the Jenner and Hadid sisters – and being married to Justin Bieber. Nevertheless, the IMG signee — who’s walked for the likes of Dolce & Gabbana, Jeremy Scott, Prabal Gurung, Elie Saab, Tory Burch, Off-White, Zadig & Voltaire and Tommy Hilfiger — has more than earned her stripes. Rose Bertram, a 5’7″ bombshell known for her curly mane and killer curves, is a favorite of Sports Illustrated, LOVE, H&M and Jeremy Scott. The IMG signee and Instagirl on the rise has also worked with beauty giant L’Oréal Paris and luxury lingerie retailer Agent Provocateur, among others.

7. Sara Sampaio

As far as Victoria’s Secret Angels go, 5’8″ Sara Sampaio is a bit on the “short” side. Still, Portugal’s most photogenic export is a mainstay on the international catwalks. 8. Emily Ratajkowski

You’ve definitely had an eyeful of 5’7″ Emily Ratajkowski — you’ll remember her from 2013’s controversial “Blurred Lines” music video and 2014’s movie adaptation of Gone Girl. But Ratajkowski’s a model first. Her formidable CV includes a turn on Miu Miu’s Fall 2016 runway, a spot in Marc Jacobs’ sprawling Spring 2016 ad campaign and stints on the covers of CR Fashion Book, GQ Spain and British Vogue. Oh, and she’s a firm fave of Donatella Versace.

9. Marisa Miller

Marisa Miller would be a babe no matter her height, which is 5’8″, to be exact. The American fashion model is known best for looking scrumptious in Sports Illustrated and for Victoria’s Secret.

10. Kate Moss

Kate Moss is an industry icon, which is amazing, considering shes’ only 5’7″. But her keen modeling abilities and dangerous, cool-girl vibe we all wish we had have turned her into one of the most successful faces in the world. 

11. Cara Delevingne

Cara Delevingne‘s height has been reported to be anywhere between 5’7″ and 5’8″. One thing’s for sure, she’s definitely not traditional runway height. Her agent once tried to get her cast in Louis Vuitton’s Fall 2012 show, but she was cut when Marc Jacobs asked, “Why is that dwarf in there?”

12. Devon Aoki

Devon Aoki is one of the shortest high fashion models out there, and has enjoyed a lot of success through her career. In the late 90s, she became the face of Versace and also posed for Chanel, Kenzo, Moschino, Fendi and many more. How tall is she? Just 5’5″.

13. Camille Rowe

Camille Rowe has landed campaigns with Chloé, Aldo, Dior Homme, H&M and more, as well as multiple covers of ELLE France. She’s also posed for Victoria’s Secret at only 5’7″. Not bad for a “short” girl, right?

14. Lila Moss

After posing alongside her model mother Kate Moss on Vogue Italia’s July 2016 edition, it was only a matter of time before Lila Moss reached superstardom. At 5’3″, Lila has secured campaigns for a whole multitude of fashion houses including Ermanno Scervino, Versace, Marc Jacobs and appeared on the magazine covers of British Vogue, Vogue Japan and Vanity Fair Italia to name a select few.

15. Liberty Ross

Liberty Ross‘ 5’6″ frame certainly was not a problem for Burberry, Emanuel Ungaro or Jimmy Choo–they all chose her to front their campaigns. 

16. Lydia Hearst

While it helps that your family is one of the most powerful in the publishing industry when you’re trying to start a modeling career, Lydia Hearst has had a lot of success–not because of her name. She’s landed campaigns for Juicy Couture, Pringle of Scotland, Swarovski and more. Not to mention the sizeable amount of print work she’s done for international versions of Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle and more. Laetitia Casta has had a tremendously successful career in spite of her 5’6″ height.
