The icon of fashion is reunited with Luigi & Iango for the occasion, and is splashed across two dynamic black and white covers. In cover one (below), Evaneglista (who was recently awarded the Vanguard Award at the 11tth Annual Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards) serves face while on cover two strikes a pose wearing Rick Owens, as selected by cover shoot stylist Elanur Erdogan.

Slap bang in the middle of the fashion festivities that is New York Fashion Week Spring 2025, the stars came out for the 2024 Kering Caring for Women dinner. This year’s splashy event marks the third of its kind, following the inception of The Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women initiative in 2022. The event is aimed at raising funds and awareness in support of the nongovernmental organizations that work to end gender-based violence. Last year’s Kering Caring for Women event raised over $3 million and benefited organizations in order to break the intergenerational cycle of violence.

Last night, on day four of NYFW Spring 2025, a star-studded crowd descended upon The Pool, located inside The Seagram Building on New York’s 375 Park Avenue. The red carpet arrivals for this year’s Kering Caring for Women function was undoubtedly a feast for the eyes.

Ragazzi called upon none other than Linda Evangelista, Vittoria Ceretti, Deva Cassel, Isabella Rossellini, Mariacarla Boscono and Maty Fall as cover stars for the occasion. Last night, stars from the world of fashion, film, music and entertainment were out in full force to celebrate the opening of The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit.

Naturally, the most buzz-worthy spectacle on the fashion calendar generated a vast amount of show-stopping fashion moments for us to sit back and fawn over. The “The Garden of Time” dress code, inspired by a short story from 1962 of the same title by J.G. Ballard could have perhaps been interpreted in a variety of different ways. As expected, however, a whole multitude of archival magic was unearthed and florals for spring actually proved to be somewhat… groundbreaking.

Kim Kardashian requested Maison Margiela’s John Galliano create a haute couture look composed of a pale grey cashmere cardigan, a corset rewoven from antique silver brocade and a skirt in tooled silver metal evoking lace and florals. A staggering 98,000 crystals later and Anok Yai hit the famed steps of the 2024 Met Gala in a custom Swarovski creation while South African singer required a little help up the stairs, essentially donning a Balmain sand sculpture. Zendaya opted for not one but two breathtaking looks. This year’s Met Gala co-host first descended upon the event showcasing a striking ocean-blue gown by John Galliano for Maison Margiela that included a dramatic matching headpiece. The undisputed style icon later ventured up the steps again in a black archival look from Givenchy’s Spring 1996 haute couture collection (designed by the late Alexander McQueen). Inspired by a Richard Avedon photograph, Nicole Kidman asked Balenciaga’s Denma to breath new life into an original monochromatic Cristóbal Balenciaga creation from 1951 while Demi Moore hit all the right notes in a Harris Reed confection.

Since June 2023, upon the news of Enninful departing the British fashion bible after a rather remarkable 7-year stint, names like Beyoncé were thrown around with regards to his final cover star. Needless to say, we didn’t see this one coming…

Donna Karan New York is back, with a vengeance. The iconic American brand has since undergone a relaunch, having been acquired by G-III Apparel Group Ltd back 2016 from LVMH. A whole three decades have passed, since Donna Karan first unveiled the iconic “In Women We Trust”advertising campaign lensed by the late Peter Lindbergh and the slogan remains the brand’s mantra with the relaunch, for the Spring 2024 season. To commemorate the occasion, famed photographer Annie Leibovitz was called upon to lens a celebratory campaign starring eight supermodels who represent the label’s past, present and future. The faces of the campaign include legends Liya Kebede, Linda Evangelista, Carolyn Murphy, Cindy Crawford, Shalom Harlow, Amber Valletta, Karlie Kloss and Imaan Hammam, who each don an array of signature pieces from the newly-launched collection.
